Douglas F. Warnat, P.E. has developed a diverse engineering background in all aspects of conceptual through final design, construction management,  rehabilitation, and inspection of civil and environmental systems starting from his early employment and working during college and his  summer positions starting in 1970.  After his college graduation in 1974, he was employed in private consulting engineering practice for seven years in Michigan as a wastewater design engineer working and expanding quickly in very reponsible municipal projects handling major design and grant related street, wastewater and water projects.  He worked directly under the control and mentoring of the principal of the firm.  During the years from 1981 into 1991 he continued to expand his capabilities in the capacity as project manager and chief engineer fully responsible for complete civil and environmental projects in areas of municipal, industrial, commercial and residential sectors.  From 1992 through 1997   he was owner of two different engineering practices.  He was instrumental consulting in both re-building and building from start multiple companies civil engineering departments.  His experience in private practice includes civil and environmental design, value engineering, various grant programs, asset management, hazardous waste studies and closures, permits and regulatory compliance, innovative and alternative wastewater treatment and collection systems, expert witness and arbitration cases involving  insurance, construction, design issues, utility, environmental and zoning  areas, directed efforts for municipal and industrial consent decree compliance, covering both plaintiff and defendant sides. He performed and was responsible for civil and environmental projects for the U.S. Corp. of Engineers, Navy, DOE, FmHA, HUD, local and U.S. Housing Authorities, FAA and the United Coast Guard.

President and Chief Engineer. He is responsible for the complete day to day company operations and serves as a key 
team player in the continuing development of the Civil and Environmental Market within the southeast.  He is chief
manager of civil design operations for design, legal and construction projects.  The firm has an extensive
diversification of clients including municipal, federal, private commercial and industrial, architectural firms, legal and
institutional entities.

1997 to 2006 – Consulting Firms

Project manager and technical design leader in charge of small to multi- million dollar municipal, residential, commercial and industrial drainage, site and wastewater projects designs. 

1992 to 1997 - Private Consulting

He was sole owner of a civil/environmental consulting firm along with being a partner in a separate environmental
engineering firm. Innovative and special environmental designs, expert witness in areas of drainage, zoning, environmental storm water, onsite sewage, and insurance cases.



1972 to 1992 – Consulting Firms

He was Civil and Environmental design engineer. He was responsible for new client development and client servicing, necessary initial due diligence, pricing, contract, design and construction for governmental, municipal, residential, commercial and industrial projects. He was an experienced engineering provider serving on various legal and arbitration cases as expert witness and providing diversified specialized litigation support.
